Amanda Brugel

Pointe Claire, a quiet community in the West Island of Montreal is what you might call a "sleepy" location. The people who aren't familiar with this term often think that it's a separate island somewhere west of Montreal However, in reality this part of West Island is home to every aspect of Lachine west to the city of Lachine west. Amanda Brugel grew up on the West Island, and it is frequently known as the place where she was born. It is true that she was there for a brief duration. Brugel grew up in Courtice near Oshawa Ontario. She wanted to become a professional dancer but because of a huge increase in her height, she outgrew the dance partners she had. According to an article in the Toronto Star, she revealed her height in heels as 6 feet 1 inches tall. As I grew older than my male companions, I quit. There are many dancers who make the move to acting. For Brugel, it was her drama teacher who nudged her to go in this direction. The teacher was the one who advised her to audition as Anne in their annual school production. After trying out her options, she was eventually the lead actress of Anne of Green Gables. The show was granted an Fine Arts Talent Scholarship to take part in York University's Theater Program, where she graduated in 2000 with a degree of Bachelor's in Fine Arts. Since then, Brugel has been performing in over 60 plays, smaller and large. One of the most memorable was when she landed Rita's role on The Handmaid's Tale. Brugel is the only Canadian actor in Season 1 which was viewed only at times.
